Patricia Billings

Patricia Billings is an American sculptor, inventor, and businesswoman born in 1926 in Clinton, Missouri. She is best known for inventing Geobond, a non-toxic, fire-resistant building material that serves as the world's first practical replacement for asbestos. She founded Geobond International, Inc. to commercialize her discovery and has received multiple patents for building materials between 1997 and 2008.
