Patricia Ann Potter

Patricia Ann Potter (1940–2025) was a USA Today-bestselling author of more than sixty romance and contemporary novels who earned numerous accolades including seven RITA Award finalist nominations and three Maggie Awards. She began her career as a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering major historical events including U.S. presidents, the space race, and the civil rights movement, before transitioning to fiction writing. Potter served as president of the Romance Writers of America and was an active member of multiple romance writing organizations.
