Paracelsus

Paracelsus was a Swiss physician, alchemist, and philosopher of the Renaissance, known for pioneering the use of chemicals and minerals in medicine and for challenging traditional medical practices. He emphasized observation and experience over ancient texts, and is considered a founder of toxicology and modern pharmacology.
