Papias Generale Banados

Papias of Hierapolis was a 2nd-century Christian bishop and one of the Apostolic Fathers. He is best known for his lost five-volume work, *Exposition of the Sayings of the Lord*, which survives only in fragments quoted by later writers and is important for early traditions about Jesus and the origins of the Gospels.
