Pandro S. Berman was an acclaimed American film producer known for producing landmark Hollywood films over four decades, including the Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers musicals at RKO, such as *Gunga Din* (1939) and *The Hunchback of Notre Dame* (1939), and later at MGM classics like *National Velvet* (1944), *Father of the Bride* (1950), *Blackboard Jungle* (1955), and *BUtterfield 8* (1960).[1][2][3]
