Pamela Hill

Pamela Smith Hill is a New York Times bestselling author, editor, educator, and expert on Laura Ingalls Wilder, known for books such as *Laura Ingalls Wilder's Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography*, *Laura Ingalls Wilder: A Writer's Life*, and young adult novels including *Ghost Horses*. She grew up in Springfield, Missouri, worked as a newspaper staff writer before leaving the corporate world in 1994 to write books for young adults, and has taught professional and creative writing at universities in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Missouri.[1][2]
