Padgett Powell

Padgett Powell is an American novelist and educator associated with the Southern literary tradition. His debut novel, Edisto, was nominated for the National Book Award, and his later work includes novels such as A Woman Named Drown, The Interrogative Mood: A Novel?, and You & Me, as well as several collections of short stories.
