P. Michael Conn
P. Michael Conn, PhD (1949–2016) was a distinguished pharmacologist and reproductive biologist who pioneered research on GnRH receptor signaling mechanisms. He held leadership positions at Duke University, University of Iowa, Oregon Health & Science University, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, publishing over 360 refereed articles and 239 book chapters. His work laid the foundation for GnRH analog treatments for diseases including prostate cancer and endometriosis, and he served as President of the Endocrine Society from 1996–1997.
