P. J. Brackston

Paula Brackston, who writes fantasy crime as P.J. Brackston, is a New York Times bestselling author known for historical fantasy novels like The Witch's Daughter and the Brothers Grimm Mystery series featuring detective Gretel in 18th-century Bavaria.[1][2][4] She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University and lives in a wild, mountainous part of Wales.[5][6] Before writing full-time, she worked as a groom, travel agent, secretary, English teacher, and goat herd.[5]
