P. A. P. Moran

Patrick Alfred Pierce Moran (1917–1988) was an Australian statistician who made significant contributions to probability theory and its application to population and evolutionary genetics[2]. He served as the foundation professor of statistics at the Australian National University in Canberra and was a Fellow of the Royal Society[1][2].
