Otto Henne Am Rhyn

Otto Henne am Rhyn (1828–1914) was a Swiss writer, journalist, and historian known for his wide-ranging cultural and historical studies. His best-known work is the multi-volume "Allgemeine Kulturgeschichte" (Universal History of Civilization), and he also wrote on the history of the German people, Switzerland, Judaism, the Crusades, and women in history.
