Otakar Sevcik

Otakar Ševčík was a Czech violinist, teacher, and composer best known for developing an influential violin pedagogy and widely used technical exercises. He studied at the Prague Conservatory, later taught in cities including Kyiv, Prague, Vienna, and Písek, and counted many notable violinists among his students.
