Oscar W McConkie Jr

Oscar W. McConkie Jr. (1926-2020) was a prominent Utah attorney, politician, and leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He co-founded the law firm Kirton McConkie, served as president of the Utah State Senate (1965-1966), chairman of the Utah State Board of Education (1982-1984), and held various church positions including mission president and patriarch. He authored several LDS textbooks and books, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.[1][2][3]
