Olumbe Bassir
Olumbe Bassir (1919–2001) was a Nigerian scientist, author, and academic known for his work in biochemistry, nutrition, aflatoxins, and peace research. He served in senior academic roles at the University of Ibadan, including as head of the Department of Biochemistry and acting vice-chancellor, and authored works on science, literature, and West African verse.
