Octavio et al Alberola

Octavio Alberola Suriñach (1928–2025) was a Spanish anarchist militant, physicist, engineer, and anti-Francoist activist who lived in exile from childhood, first in Mexico and later in France. Son of libertarian militants, he engaged in direct action against the Franco regime, including assassination attempts and kidnappings as part of Defensa Interior (DI) and Groupes d’Action Révolutionnaire Internationalistes (GARI). Later, he contributed to anarchist documentation efforts, co-founding CESAME in 1985 and participating in REDIAL in 1988.
