Norton Parker Chipman

Norton Parker Chipman (March 7, 1834 – February 1, 1924) was an American Civil War army officer, military prosecutor, politician, author, and judge. He is best known for prosecuting Henry Wirz, the Confederate commander of Andersonville Prison, and later served as a delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives from the District of Columbia.
