Norman Polmar
Norman Polmar is an author, analyst, and consultant specializing in naval, aviation, intelligence, and technology subjects.[1][2] He has led major projects for the United States Department of Defense, the U.S. Navy, and foreign governments, serving as advisor to three U.S. Secretaries of the Navy, two Chiefs of Naval Operations, senators, and the Speaker of the House.[1][2] Polmar has authored or coauthored more than 50 books, including multiple editions of *Ships and Aircraft of the U.S. Fleet* and *Guide to the Soviet Navy*, and contributes to *Proceedings* and *Janes Fighting Ships*.[1]
