Norman Perrin

Norman Perrin (1920-1976) was a prominent New Testament scholar and professor at the University of Chicago Divinity School from 1969 until his death in 1976. He was known for his influential works on the historical Jesus, including 'The Kingdom of God in the Teaching of Jesus' (1963) and 'Rediscovering the Teaching of Jesus' (1976), as well as 'The Promise of Bultmann.' His research focused on biblical interpretation and the teachings of Jesus.
