Norman Hollyn

Norman Hollyn was an acclaimed American film editor and the first Michael Kahn Endowed Chair in Editing at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, known for his work on films such as 'Sophie's Choice,' 'The Cotton Club,' and 'Heathers.' Born in New York in 1952, he passed away unexpectedly in Yokohama, Japan, in 2019 while lecturing at Tokyo University of the Arts.
