Norman Battershill
Norman James Battershill (1922–2010) was a British painter, teacher, and author born in Hackney, London, to artist Leslie Battershill. He attended Twickenham College of Art, exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and Pastel Society—where he was elected a member—and is known for realist and impressionist-style works such as 'Bridge and Stream, Arundel.' Battershill authored books including 'Beeswax Crafts,' blending his artistic talents with craft instruction.[1][5]
