Norah Titley

Norah M. Titley (1920–2010) was a British scholar specializing in Persian manuscripts and miniature painting from Persia, India, and Turkey. She joined the Department of Oriental Manuscripts at the British Museum in 1950, later moving to the British Library when it emerged in the 1970s, and retired in 1983. Her most celebrated work was a translation and comprehensive analysis of the Ni'matnāmah, published in 2005[1].
