Nigel Cawthorne

Nigel Cawthorne (born 27 March 1951) is a British freelance writer, editor, and journalist specializing in history, having authored over 150 books on diverse subjects including fiction, non-fiction, true crime, and popular history under various pseudonyms. He began his career in journalism, contributing to publications like The Guardian, Daily Mirror, and New York Herald Tribune, and has appeared on television and BBC Radio 4. Raised in Surrey after his birth in Wolverhampton, he holds a B.Sc. in physics from the University of London and lives in England.
