Nicoletta Costa

Nicoletta Costa, born in 1953 in Trieste, Italy, is an acclaimed Italian writer, illustrator, and cartoonist renowned for her children's books featuring characters like Olga the Cloud and Julio Bunny (Julian Rabbit).[1][2][4] She studied architecture at the University of Venice, graduating in 1978, before dedicating herself to illustrating and writing hundreds of books since the 1980s, earning multiple awards including three Andersen Prizes.[1][2][3]
