Nick Hunt is a British author of travel writing and fiction, known for books about walking across Europe including *Walking the Woods and the Water*, *Where the Wild Winds Are*, and *Outlandish*. He has also written a short fiction collection and a debut novel, *Red Smoking Mirror*, and his work has appeared in publications such as *The Guardian* and *The Economist*.[2][7][8]
