Nick Gordon

Nicholas Gordon is a poet born in 1940 in Albany, New York, who has lived most of his life in New York City or its environs. He holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from Queens College, CUNY, and master's and doctorate degrees in English and American literature from Stanford University. After a career teaching English at New Jersey City University, he retired and began writing poetry seriously in the early 1980s, primarily to celebrate family occasions.
