Nicholas Hasluck
Nicholas Paul Hasluck is an Australian novelist, poet, short story writer, and former judge born in Canberra in 1942. He studied law at the University of Western Australia and Oxford University before practicing law in Perth for many years. His literary works, which include novels like The Bellarmine Jug (which won The Age Book of the Year Award), combine elements of moral thrillers, satire, and intrigue, often exploring Australian identity and the relationship between law and literature.
