Nicholas Harris Nicolas
Sir Nicholas Harris Nicolas (1799–1848) was an English antiquary, genealogist, and legal officer known for his scholarly work on British history, heraldry, and the orders of knighthood. He served in the civil service and produced influential reference works and editions of historical documents.
