Ngakpa Chogyam

Ngakpa Chögyam is a Western Vajrayana Buddhist teacher, author, and lineage holder in the Aro gTér tradition of the Nyingma school. Born in Hanover, Germany, in 1952 and raised in the south of England, he studied Tibetan Buddhism in the Himalayas, completed traditional retreat practices, and began teaching in Britain in 1979. He has written on Buddhism, Dzogchen, and Vajrayana psychology, often in collaboration with his wife, Khandro Déchen.
