Newman Smyth

Newman Smyth (1843-1925) was an American clergyman and theologian born in Brunswick, Maine, and educated at Bowdoin College. He served as Pastor of Center Church in New Haven for twenty-five years and was known as a New England ecumenist who wrote extensively on theological and moral subjects.
