Neil J. Salkind

Neil J. Salkind (1947-2017) was an American professor of educational psychology and research methods at the University of Kansas from 1973 to 2008, where he taught for over 30 years and received an honorary appointment in the Department of Human Development and Family Life.[1][2][3] He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland's Institute for Child Study and authored numerous textbooks on statistics, research methods, and educational psychology, including Statistics for People Who (Think They) Hate Statistics and Methods of Investigation, known for his 'Scientific Research Cycle'.[2][3][7]
