Neal Stephenson
Neal Stephenson is an American writer known for his speculative fiction novels such as Snow Crash, The Diamond Age, Cryptonomicon, and the Baroque Cycle, which explore themes like mathematics, cryptography, linguistics, philosophy, and the history of science. He has also written non-fiction articles for Wired, served as Magic Leap's chief futurist from 2014 to 2020, and advised Blue Origin. Educated at Boston University with a BA in geography and physics in 1981, he lives in Seattle, Washington.
