National Publishing Company
The National Publishing Company was a book publisher established in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by Joshua R. Jones, specializing in Bibles, books of maps, encyclopedias, and other books. In 1878, it constructed a five-story headquarters at 726 Cherry Street and expanded with offices in Chicago, St. Louis, and Australia. A modern entity with the same name operates from Philadelphia, offering comprehensive publishing services including ghostwriting, editing, design, and marketing.
