Nathan Hystad

Nathan Hystad is a best-selling science fiction author from outside Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, who has written over fifty novels including The Event, Lost Contact, and The Other Place.[3] He specializes in alien invasion, first contact, and colonization themes, and has sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his work.[3] After twenty years in corporate work, he transitioned to full-time writing and is a two-time Nebula Award Finalist and USA Today Bestselling author.[5]
