Nancy Tillman

Nancy Tillman is an American author and illustrator of children's books, born in 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Columbus, Georgia.[1] A former advertising executive, she self-published her first book, On the Night You Were Born, in 2005, which became a New York Times bestseller after being picked up by Feiwel & Friends, leading to numerous subsequent bestsellers focusing on parental love and children's wonder.[1][2][3] She now lives in Oregon and creates her illustrations digitally.[2]
