Nancy Luedtke Zieman
Nancy L. Zieman (née Luedtke) was an American author, designer, and television host best known for 'Sewing with Nancy,' the longest-running sewing program on television, which aired for 36 seasons on Wisconsin Public Television. Raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, she founded Nancy's Notions, a successful sewing supply business, and authored numerous how-to books on sewing and quilting while designing patterns for companies like McCall and Clover Needlecraft. She received accolades including induction into the Sewing Hall of Fame in 2001 before passing away from cancer in 2017.
