Nancy Frey
Nancy Frey, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor of Educational Leadership and Teacher Education at San Diego State University, specializing in literacy, reading, and language arts education.[1][4] She is also a teacher leader at Health Sciences High and Middle College in San Diego and has published extensively with colleague Dr. Doug Fisher on educational equity and excellence.[1] Frey is a credentialed special educator, reading specialist, and administrator in California who has received the 2008 Early Career Achievement Award from the National Reading Conference.[1][3]
