Namir Shammas

Namir Clement Shammas is a retired Iraqi-American engineer and technical author born in 1954. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Baghdad and University of Michigan, and has worked in water treatment, programming language instruction, and technical documentation. He is known for his work on polynomial root optimization methods and has authored numerous programming books including titles on QBasic and Windows Batch File Programming.
