Nadia Sablin

Nadia Sablin (b. 1980, Russia) is a photographer who earned a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2002 and an MFA from Arizona State University in 2011. Her work blurs the line between documentary and fictional storytelling, exploring personal narratives in rural Russia and Ukraine, with books including *Aunties* (2015) and *Years Like Water*. She has received grants from the Guggenheim Foundation and others, exhibited internationally, and teaches photography at SUNY New Paltz.
