Muriel Miura

Muriel Miura Kaminaka was a Hawaiʻi-based cookbook author, television cooking host, award-winning home economist, and educator known for nearly 30 cookbooks and for introducing local Hawaiʻi and Japanese cooking to home cooks and aspiring chefs. She also mentored later-known chefs such as Sam Choy and Alan Wong and was associated with some of the earliest TV shows focused on these cuisines.
