Moustafa Bayoumi

Moustafa Bayoumi is an award-winning author, journalist, and Professor of English at Brooklyn College, City University of New York. He is best known for his books 'How Does It Feel to Be a Problem?: Being Young and Arab in America' (2008), which won an American Book Award and the Arab American Book Award for Non-Fiction, and 'This Muslim American Life: Dispatches from the War on Terror' (2015), also an Arab American Book Award winner. As an opinion columnist for The Guardian, he contributes to major publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Nation, and The London Review of Books.
