Moses Alfred Joseph 1859-

Alfred Joseph Moses (1859–1920) was an American mineralogist born in Brooklyn, New York. He spent his career at Columbia University's School of Mines, advancing from student to professor of mineralogy in 1897, succeeding T. Egleston, and edited the School of Mines Quarterly, contributing numerous papers.[1][2]
