Morris William

William Morris (1834–1896) was an English textile designer, poet, artist, writer, and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts movement. He revolutionized Victorian taste through designs for furniture, fabrics, stained glass, and wallpaper, while his literary works like 'News from Nowhere' and 'The Earthly Paradise' helped establish the modern fantasy genre and promoted socialist ideals.[1][2]
