Monroe Fordham
Monroe Fordham (1939-2012) was an accomplished historian and scholar who served as a faculty member and department chair in the History Department at Buffalo State College from 1970-1998.[2] He pioneered groundbreaking work in community history and Afro-American history, earning local, regional, and national recognition for his research and publications.[2] Buffalo State College established the Monroe Fordham Center for Regional History in 2002 in recognition of his contributions to regional and community history.[1]
