Monica Nolan

Monica Nolan is an author born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, who earned an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University after initially pursuing film before switching to writing due to cost considerations. She has written articles on film, pop culture, and bicycling for publications like Bitch Magazine, Release Print, Lambda Literary, and the San Francisco Chronicle, and blogs about lesbian pulp fiction and vintage teen fiction. Nolan has published four novels and co-authored a book of short stories, all parodies of lesbian pulp fiction.
