Moisei IAkovlevich Ostrogorskii

Moisei Yakovlevich Ostrogorskii (1854–1921) was a Russian political scientist, historian, jurist, and sociologist, best known as a pioneering scholar of comparative party organization and modern political parties. His work helped lay the foundations of political sociology, especially in studies of party systems in the United States and Britain.
