Moira Young

Moira Young is a Canadian children's novelist and former actress and opera singer, best known for her dystopian Dust Lands trilogy, which includes Blood Red Road, Rebel Heart, and Raging Star. Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, she moved to the UK to study drama and now resides in Bath with her husband. Her debut novel, Blood Red Road, won multiple awards including the Costa Children's Book Award and the BC Book Prize.
