Moira Butterfield
Moira Butterfield is an internationally published author of children's fiction and non-fiction who has been commended by the Library of Congress for her work encouraging children to read. Having studied graphics and English Literature, she became a children's book editor before transitioning to full-time authorship. She wrote her first book at age 8, creating a photo book about her pet cats, and now writes books spanning diverse subjects from ancient treasures to future worlds.
