Miriam Milman

Miriam Daisy Milman was an American author and scholar specializing in art history, particularly the trompe-l'oeil technique in painted architecture. She wrote the book 'Trompe-l'Oeil: Painted Architecture,' published by Rizzoli in 1986, which explores the historical use of illusionistic painting to extend architectural space. Born in Illinois, she resided in Brooklyn in 1920 as a young child.
