Mikhail Moiseevich Botvinnik

Mikhail Moiseevich Botvinnik was a Soviet chess grandmaster, world champion, and influential chess theorist who held the world title in three reigns. He was also an electrical engineer and a pioneer in computer chess, and he helped shape the Soviet chess school through his play and teaching.
