Mike Venezia

Mike Venezia is a children's book author and illustrator born in New York City, who spent his early years moving between New York and Chicago due to his family's ties in both cities. He began his writing career in 1978, creating and illustrating books for Childrens Press (Grolier/Scholastic), and is known for his engaging biographies of famous figures in the 'Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists' and similar series. He continues to produce educational literature for young readers.
